to hold my platform pad down? There is a larger gap when we are wakesurfing but I did not want to pull up too hard and tear it.

Gorrilla Glue... it will foam over, chop that off and you're golden

gorrilla glue is great stuff, but not for this issue. I agree with ajholt, a good quality contact cement is the way to go. gorrilla glue will foam under as well creating a bubble so to speak

John, You should use Hydro Turf Glue. Its what they use to put the pad on jet skis. It should work for this also. Good Luck

Hydro Turf Glue is DAP Weldwood. I was told that from Hydro Turf when I bought some a couple years ago for a PWC. It works great.

Under the black pad is some type of film that was probably part of the original sticker on the padding. Should I try and remove some of it or just apply the glue as is? It is well connected to the platform.

I've had great luck with the 3M Super 90 spray adhesive that Kirk posted up above.

Great info. On the flip side of this topic, does anyone know where I can get a new Platform Pad. I have a 97' MC Maristar. It's a generic shaped pad that I could cut myself if I could just find where to buy the material. Preferrably very dense and not smooth on top.
