We are going out Saturday for another session. I am wondering how long this somewhat warm weather is going to last here in Alabama (calling for low 70's this weekend). I wanted to know who on here is going to try and ride through the winter, and where do you live, temps etc. We usually don't ride Nov - Feb but I would like to give it a shot at least one or two days a month. Some of our crew have talked about a ride on Jan. 1st, so we will see who all backs out on that. Anyway here's to freezing your nipples off.

Kenny - that would be Sammamish- It's a great lake- you can almost always find some nice water. I lived out there for 17 years and loved it.

when im older, and can make the decision to keep my boat out all year, i will, but as of rite now my parents break out the cocoa and ear muffs when it gets to be 80. just so long as the hippies are wrong and we arent about to go through a second ice age, in which case we'll make up some new sport with snowmobiles that kick up wakes some how,.....

but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it...

We rode at least twice a month last winter and will try this year if lake levels permit. Water temps here on the NC/SC state line hover in the mid 50's. Nothing a wet/dry suit cant handle.

Few beers and a spring suit will do for me =) Also, I have never seen snow in person.

I've ridden in a spring suit when the water was 50 and the air was 50. That was on Christmas Eve 2005 at lake Hartwell SC. Nevada/Arizona has a lot better temperatures in the winter.
