Has anyone let DHM trailer repaint their trailer if so how did they do? I also wonder if getting it powder coating it would be more durable?

Brian, Grant had his trailer repainted at DHM. I think he was totally satisfied. I had them do some touch-up work on mine and it was fine.

Have you thought about getting it rhino lined or line-x? You would probably have to strip it and rough it up first, but it would hold up really well.

Yes DHM re-painted my trialer. From what I understand all DHM trailers are painted not powder coated. Its not cheep anywhere form $1500 to $1700

But before you say that expencieve. Think about what they have to do.
1. Take your boat off your trailer and put it on a temp trailer
2. Completley take your trailer all apart.
3. Sandblast the whole thing.
4. Put trailer back together, wireing bleeding the brake's re-carpet the bunk's

Im not saying its cheep its just alot of work keep that in mind. Better hurry up before DHM gets super busy.

I've dealt with DHM a couple of times... They are a first class operation, and will take good care of your boat while they're doing the work also..
I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Line-X all the way!

I had mine done a couple of years ago and would never own another trailer without it.

People can grind gravel, dirt, and duck sh** into the fender's all they want now. All I have to do is hose it down.Upload

The cost of a trailer is usually about $1200.00 and has a lifetime guarantee. You can chose any color you want these days
