I am looking for a cheap wakeboard. I need something that is good for the 170 weight range and easy to ride. Like something for $50. Has anyone heard of a hydoslide?...it is cheap on ebay.

I'm assuming you mean hydroslide? Old school.....keep looking. I think those are directional boards?

i hav one i bought last year.. not so popular brand name but its pretty good even for doin' tricks when you get more advanced. it's in good shape... i only used it for like a month and it's good for a beginner if you want it i can sell it on eBay for you. i bought it for around $300 last year so i'd probably sell it for around $99 with adjustable bindings... if you want it e-mail me at achampion@rogers.com and i'll send you a pic! Hope this helps!

I started with a Hydroslide I bought at SportMart on sale for about $100. The board was fiberglass but the bindings were actually velcro over neoprene (no laces). Point is, I QUICKLY outgrew it (I'm talking about 2 times). To make it work the rest of the season, I bought some cheap but nice lace ups from ebay (I think they were called WetTech). The set-up continues to serve as my guest setup. The point is, I'm into it for over $200. You'd be better off buying a "last years model" package from a sports superstore in your area. I've been finding their sale prices are same as internet prices (and you don't have to pay shipping).

My first board was a hydroslide. It was a board that I outgrew in about 2 months. It is a good board if your just getting into the game. You will soon runout of things that you can do on it though. However the hydroslide "carbon" board is a great board that will last you for some time! it is actually the exact same bard as the Liquid Force Trip.
