If you only use your boat on weekends do you turn your batteries off during the week? Would you loose the saved pull speeds on Perfectpass with the battery turned off?

If you use it one a month or so, you should be fine. Leave it turned on. If its going to be longer than that, you can disconnect if you want. Really though, you should be able to go months on a good battery connected, as long as you don't have any wierd current draws

If you have a stereo disconnect it. The memory and clock alone on the stereo will kill your battery in only a few days.

Memory and clock will kill your battery in a few days? Are you kidding? If that is true on your boat, you need a new battery, or have somethign hooked up wrong. Your amps may not be turning off or something.

A boat battery, stereo or not, should easily be able to go 6mo without use and still start up fine

memory on your stereo and clock will not kill you battery in a few days. Anyone that thinks that is the problem better look for something else thats eating up current draw. My 22ssv has a bat switch that cuts the engine and major engine related functions but keeps current to the rest of the boat. I left that connection in place for the entire winter and had no problem in the spring.
