I've seen lots of threads on here regarding good vilyl cleaners etc. but no one has really mentioned cleaning some pretty bad mildew stains.

The cover for my boat sucks and it stays pretty damp in there durring the week and it's finally getting to me. I'm ready to give it a good scrub down with a brush and finish ot off with some 303 after it's clean.

I've also got some scratches on the hull, more just some marks from rubbing the dock, that I'd like to get off. Any ideas.

thanks

Hull scratches and marks - High speed buff with a wool bonnet - followed by polish and wax

Cover - Starbrights boat cover cleaner...I've never used a pressure washer on my cover but I bet it would be quicker and easier than the cleaner. Maybe use a combination of both!

Mildew - Starbright or other brand mildew remover(on vinyl) be sure to wipe down with clean water afterward and avoid contact with carpet. I've never heard of anyone messing up carpet but you don't want to be the first.

If you have a boat store near you they should have all of the products and a sales person could show you their personal favorites. Any brand should work! I have about 3 binds of cleaning products of assorted brands and use them all. Good luck! Hope your fiends will help out!!!

PS - let us know what works best, especially on your cover.
