I'm going off to college soon with really no idea what i want to do with my life. i was wondering what are some jobs within the sport of wakeboarding or snowboarding that you might not think of, theres the most obvious retail and sales but what are some other aspects?

You really can't go wrong with a focus on business, marketing, or graphic design. Or a combo of all three.

yeah, R&D has to be huge in this industry, I mean with all the different styles and lines of boards and wakeskates. All it would take is start-up capital and a few good engineering and design ideas, and you could almost start your own line with the right connections.

Wow, Lloyd made starting your own wakeboard company sound easy! Anybody remember Full Tilt, Wake Tech, Bad Ass, Iconn, Concrete, etc.?

Making a small fortune in wakeboarding and boating in general is extremely easy. First you need to start with a large fortune. So get rich doing something else then come back to wakeboarding.
