Just thought I'd say hi to all you people. Just registered on the site. I'm an 18 year old just trying to learn how to wakeboard. I know i'll prolly get flamed for this but I was a waterskier, but thought i'd move on to some more challenging stuff like wakeboarding. I just ordered a 2004 Obrien Science 143 wakeboard with Link bindings and was wondering what any of you guys thought about this board?

Thanks and I hope to learn some stuff on these boards :-)

Welcome to WakeWorld Daniel. No worries on that skiing background. Many of us strayed in our younger years! I'm glad to see you found some direction! :-)

Russell I suggest starting your own thread to ask your question, you will get a much bigger response that way.

I have the exact set up. I have only ridden like 5 times and thought the board was pretty nice. Seemed to handle well but i dont really know what to look for because i too am a rookie. Only complaint is the bindings. I have a size 12 shoe and a wide foot. I got the biggest size xl/xxl and my toes hang out over the end of the bindings and my toes would go numb in 10 min. of riding. Hope you dont have feet as big.
