Thane... you should have Deb bring you out with us. gayle... it an 2000 w/ 5.3L. I had a SNOB (Ski Nautique Open Bow) before this boat. The SNOB was about 1200 lbs (trailer and boat) lighter and I didnt feel much difference between the two. Lets say not as much as you would think. It brakes very similiar but I do have dual disk brakes vs. drums. I did notice that I get less gas mileage. I was a little worried that I might need a bigger truck, but not now.

Just curious - did you order your boat with the Titan II tower, I ordered a 05 VLX this weekend at the boat show and they could not get me a Titan II only the Titan III. Mike

Racer... I had the dealer put on the titan II. Have the dealer order the boat without the tower and have him put it on. The factory will not do it.

It looks like you have a lot of board racks to fill. I'd be willing to bet your going to have a lot of people willing to help you fill those racks.

Alex... It always seems that we have 5 boards in our old boat. I have two and a landlock. My wife has one and there you go... 4 boards. This way I never have to worry about it. EJ... The air was in the 60s and the water was 58. I know it gets cooler the farther up you go.

To echo what everybody else was saying... Nice boat. It must have been really hard to not jump in the water with that glass. I noticed the swim platform was probably 2 inches out of the water. Good planing on the Bu' design, with the boat wieghted down, the platform is probably at water level.

TSO... you are so right about the summer madness. We are headed up again, but are launching our of Cottonwood and camping up lake in a few weeks. Then its back to Moabi until Sept. Chris... I did get out there, but with no weight. I really wanted to see my reflection upon the water. It was cool. Plus I wanted to try out my new board. Lance... Yes, taken it on the plane for the first time was something else.

i would have been riding behind that badboy if it was me and my rig. Very nice Boat, the colors are great! Congratulations! Gotta love those Malibus. How does that truck pull that boat? I am thinking of getting the crew cab '05 1500 with the bigger motor. Where are all the new Sans this year? Mastercrafts, etc? (Message edited by slipknot on February 03, 2005)

Sweet ride! Everyone, better file those pics, never seen glass at Katherine's (only mile long launch lines), and Cottonwood is usually a crapshoot, 4:1 it's blowing like hell. Epic shots!

BandDude... Just make sure you have the big motor. And maybe put an extra tranny cooler if you tow a lot. I had to replace mine at 85k. Insano... That is so true. That is why we avoid the summer there. And I would only ever launch at Katherines in the winter. Monk... It was something special. Mark... I didnt take wake pictures since you are not suppose to use the wedge or ballast during break in.

Romi/Captain Insano, Never launched out of Cottonwood before. I always stay in Laughlin and launch at Katherine's. How far up is Cottonwood and what are the advantages? Slipknot, To answer your question....My 05 CC SV211 Team Edition with the ZR6 arrives at my dealership in San Diego on Monday. Pics to follow shortly....

Tyler... Let say this... on a Summer Saturday, we could let Laughlin at the same time and I would have my first run in by the time you get the boat in the water. I would say its about an hour and a half to cottonwood from Lauglin. The launch ramp is about twice the size. I like it better mainly because I grew up going there. Plus we camp. But like insano said its hit or miss. No wind its great ... wind and it sucks.

Romi, Nice color/pattern choice. Beautiful boat! I would have done the same (wanted blue), but bought a red truck.

Thanks Buzz... My wife wanted the darker red. But my comment was I like it but in my mind it was totally different. I wanted to go with the gray or blue... but went with both. It was cool seeing the progess of your both over at MBO. Thanks for the photos... your boat looks great. Grant... Yes it does get that smooth. You are right about the wallys though... that is why I dont go there from May-Aug. I was going to go out there this pass weekend but it kind of sucks camping in the rain. We are trying next weekend.
