I have a Decade but will get to try it for the first time in a couple of weeks. I was suppose to have gone to Mead last month but got cancelled because of the weather. I'm excited to give it a go!

Don't know yet about the bindings.

I am now riding the Decade after riding the Natural for 4 years. To me, the Decade has more upward pop then the Natural, yet it is still very fast making it easy to get out into the flats. It also seemed to land softer then the Natural. The Decade is a little looser then the Natural.

I have ridden a preproduction pair and they are pretty nice. Very little flex in the plates, good heel hold down, light, and pretty stiff.

JJakober, can you compare it to the Player?

Jay,

I can tell you that I was never a fan of the Player! It was one of the first 3 stage boards I had ever ridden and it just seemed so slow and unforgiving. After trying the Player the year it came out(2003) I chose to ride the Suspect. The following year the Demented came out and I never gave the Player another thought. 3 years later when the Natural came out I wasn't expecting to like it because it was 3 stage, but after one set on it I knew it was the board for me(thank you Delta base).

Now the Decade takes the Natural to the next level.

Thanks J,
I do love the Natural myself, but I just kept breaking it and the store ran out them. Nintzel let me tryout one of his Players and ever since I've been digging it. I'm pretty stoked to give the Decade a go!

I have been riding the Decade 139 and Decade binders for some time now, and I must say, I am very impressed. The stability through the wake is similar to the Natural, but the speed it carries is unreal. Edge to Edge responsiveness is a little slower than the natural due to the rolled edge, but definitely picks up plenty of speed into the wake. The board finless is plenty grippy for me, so I have not tried it with the fins on. If anyone has ridden it with the fins, let me know what you think.

The Decade Bindings are super comfortable and do not break down. I have been riding the same setup since September and I haven't noticed the bindings loosening up at all. When I first got them, I let the binders sit in the sun for about 3-4 hours until they were nice an warm before sticking them on my feet. They seemed to pack out just enough to give me a snug but not overly loose feel.

If you like a stiffer boot, try the vice, but I am content with the decade for sure.
