Anyone have pics or tips how to pull off a 360 on the port side riding goofy?(backside to the wave). And what might be the ideal weight distribution for my 04 Centurion Avalanche ? it is not the c-4, it has the walk thru transom. I have a center ballast of 600lbs. a 725lb.,600lb.,and a 275lb. sac. If anyone has suggestions on where to put them it might help. Here is what I am doing now. It just seems some of the pics I see have a larger looking wave then I have been able to create.
275 in the port side bow
600 on the port side bench seat
725 in the port side locker
600 in the center tank
any passengers on the port side

I have a Centurion Elite V-C4. I will run
750 rear locker
250 under port bow seat
250 on top of port bow seat
150 behind driver on the floor between the seats
750 on top of port bench

This setup gives me a log pocket and good size wake. Thats the setup I had in those pics.

I will also have 1 person site on the sack on the bench and 1 on the back pad. That creats a masive wake. Runs about an extra 400 lbs.

I found that you don't want the center ballast. It seems to make the wake a little longer and smaller but washes it out.

As for tips on a 360 I have not tried back side 360. Here are some suggestions for just a goofy 360. keep your weight on your back foot. Stay low. I have found that if i am standing up too much I am leaning backwards too much and even if I make the 360 I push my self away from the wake and cant recover.

Thanks Micheal, I will try to mimic your set up. You do know that I ride goofy on the regular side right? Was that confusing or what? You know my back is facing the wave, right foot forward. I guess your saying stay low and turn away from the boat correct? I really want to pull this trick off, I just can't seem to bring the board all the way around.

Blaze,
I've seen it done backside by grabbing the outside rail and make a bottom turn and put your other hand in the wake and turn around it.

Tony. I have tried to ride goofy on the regular side but find that I ride up the wake and over the top alot. I have been riding switch and have been doing a lot better on that side. I have not gotten to trying a 360 yet but can carve and ride without the rope.

Wazzu - that is cool. How do you gets such a tight spin without falling back in the wake?

mike- well, from ur video my first advice would be to ride at a little slower speeds... so you dont have to constantly pump to keep up. also, i ride a smaller board with only 1 fin, 1.25 inches. just a lot of practice is the best way to get it down
