What you guys think, hyperlite audios or ronix reliks, I like a boot with some flex and give on the sidewalls for Grabs and pokes. I like my old Murray bindings that have the boa system, and my last pair of bindings wore out, they were 08 one boots, who you think is better these days

just picked up the audios yesterday. traded my byerly pros (warranty issues, like 5 issues) and got some audios instead. im riding tomorrow. ill let you know how they are. i strapped into my board with them on though, and it fealt pretty good. stiff where you want it, flex where you want it as well. ill let you know tomorrow.

ill say go ronix, unfortunately it seems like hyperlite has been changing there binding system a little to much lately, so it seems that they are trying new things out, i cant say from personal experiance riding hyperlite but i can say i have been riding ronix since day one and they seem to have found a binding system that everybody loves, and from the bindings i have ridden from other companies have the most comfortable ones as well. The relics are nice because of there low cut so you should have no problem poking out your grabs and getting steezy with all your wake to wake tricks!!!!

Ronix, hands down. Tried on some of the 2010 Hyperlite boots, they definitely are a step up from years past, in design as well as fit, however, my Ronix Cells had a more snug fit, lighter, and less unnecessary bells and whistles on them. Plus, you get the "baseless" construction from Ronix's boots. It seems like no big deal, but once you try it, you'll love it. Ronix all the way baby.

Hyperlite is still behind Ronix in my opinion. If you like side to side movement, I would definitely look into the Reliks and even the One boot. I think the One boot is soft enough to do what you need. I have the One boot and won't go back.

just got back from the lake, tried out my new audios. best boot ive ever worn. they are incredible. super supportive, yet you can still poke with ease. they are very true to size. i wear an 11 shoe in vans, and the size 11 boot fits like a glove. the boa system for the bottom is the bomb. it keeps you super locked in, ive never worn a pair of bindings with no heel lift before, until these. you can tighten the boa down, and leave the top undone, and still have tons of control. i would highly recommend them. ive worn a pair of cells demoing a board a while back, and thought they where pretty sick. and these put them to shame. if you ride a flex board, you have to get screws a little shorter. the hyperlite screws are to long, i have to get some shorter screws as even with the screws all the way tight, the boots still move just a hair. other then that. no complaints. so easy to get into, even when wet, and when i was done riding, popped the boa, slid the top lace loose, and just pulled me feet straight out, no struggle at all. love them!

Ronix all the way. I know a couple guys that are hyperlite all the way and they say that Ronix Boots are the best. I have the 2010 Ones and love them. Easily the most comfortable boot I've put on.

David, you can get new screws or put washers between the screw and claw thingy. Do not ride with it loose, that's a quick way to sheer the screws off.

got some 3/4 inch long screws. that was definatly the problem. fixed it no problem. they are tight now and have zero play. problem solved. then again, this is only if you have flex board

ronix all the way. they have the best boots by far. the reliks are the least stiff in the line, and are definitely perfect for poking. +1 for ronix

Ronix Reliks are the best bindings I have ever had on my feet. Ronix all the way.

+1 for Ronix (I ride the Cells, but tried on the Reliks yesterday...super comfy as well), BUT go and try on each and see which ones fit you better.

Just got the 09 Cells (had the 07 Cells did not like them), they are great. Ronix boots run large (I wear a size 11 in shoes, 10-11 in the 2008 Watsons, but got 10's in the Cells {I was able to put them on dry}), so take that into consideration. Plus, the hardware eliminates the need for a screwdriver. Zero heel lift, which to me is the biggest plus. I would definitely recommend them.

I just rode the Ronix Kai open toed for the first time and I like them a lot. I was riding the Ronix One closed toed. They feel almost exactly the same accept for the open toe vs closed toe.

Can anyone that has a pair of '10 Ronix One's tell me if they stretch out at all after you ride them enough? I just bought a pair today and they fit good, a little snug but any size bigger and I'd have too much room in the toes. I'm just hoping once they're broken in, they'll give a little bit. Any word? Thanks.

Torrey, you can mold them for immediate results otherwise they should slowly mold to your feet.

I purchased Byerley pro this year and used them about 6 set. They were ok but to tight for me (i wear a 14). Ordered Ronix ones in Black. We rode yesterday. I am in love. These are the sickest boots I have used to date. Super comfortable and extremely light. Gave me superior board control. Love Ronix!!

Ryan, I got them molded at TSR and noticed a slight difference. I am hoping they'll give a little after some riding with them.

I just tore one of my lace eyelets out of my 2010 hyperlite teams. I'm going to try to send em back for the ronix one's. There sweet binding's but a lace eyelet ripping out on a 2 week old boot is un excusable.
