yeah when you are not riding. if it matters to your riding you need to work on your riding.

I just said it, my opinion, based upon experience. just advocating riding safely, in a negative way.

I ride the Outlaw, it's really comfortable, and does an alright job of keeping your head out of the water. -Blake+

hey thane what up, definately lookin forward to ridin with you too. timmy, do you honestly think that i dont know enough about life jackets to tell the difference between CGA and non CGA. I have spent plenty of time on the water believe me ridin with CGA non CGA and no vest at all. each way makes you ride differently. and we all need to work on our ridin in general.

I just bought the Jet Pilot Baller and I love it. I havent had the chance to ride it sans wetsuit, but I can hardly tell its there. Much better than my Jobe Costco special LOL. Just a size recommendation here, I am 6-2 195 and I bought a medium Baller. It fits snug with the wetsuit but is really comfortable and will be that much better without the wetsuit.

I really enjoy my jetpiliot molded stance. It was cheap ($75 new) and fits great as well as looking good with my other jetpilot gear.

The best site I've found is www.buywake.com They have a nice variety! Later.......

Unless the Vapor has been totally redesigned from the 04 model dont get it it. IMO, its the worst vest. The padding in the back moves all over the place on hard falls. I took mine back to my local shop and replaced it with a brand new one, 3 weeks later it happened again and its still bunched up in the back. It is a comfortable vest overall but it gets annoying when you have the padding all in one spot in on your back. The lack of segments and stiching in the back allows the padding to move all through out the vest.

The 05 Vapor has been redisigned with segmented back paneling. You shouldn't have any problems with the foam bunching up

i have a jetpilot baller from last year. its snug and keeps your melon afloat. thats about it though. the padding moved around like crazy once, but easily went to back its original posish. Jetpilots sizes are little bigger than last year. So watch for that. I bought a friend a large JP Stance b/c my large fit perfectly. its bigger than my large. the Nevin SWATs are good too. no padding movement. they have some graphics on them for 05, not very impressive though. I tried on my friend's new Stance, definitely have to stay w/ my baller. too bulky.

I use the Oneill Assualt Vest...excellent Lumbar support, makes your back feel very secure on those hard falls... (Message edited by polskadan on March 01, 2005)
