Hi -
I recently bought a new boat and the guy threw in two wake boards. I'm a long time water skier but have only wake boarded a couple of times. I've also got a 10 year old son and a 7 year old daughter that want to learn. Are they ok to use as beginner boards for me and my friends? I assume they are too big for the kids but any advice would be good. Same on the bindings. Any good? Can anyone give me any info, or a place to look (I've searched but haven't come up with much), on these boards? Are they really old?

One board has "Double Up" written on it with Collin Wright bindings. It looks like it's probably a 135 or 137. The other board is a HyperLite Fluid 137.

Here are some pics. Thanks for the help.

Pat

Double Up Delta Series 138 and a Hyperlite Fluid....... from 2000-ish? That Delta shape is a classic (I rode one not too long ago and loved it)

Both are great beginner boards. You won't have any problems teaching people to get up and ride around on those...... but boots have come a long way since then. You might want to look at something newer
