I took my boss adjustables from the old boat just to see what they'd be like if they were 2" instead of 1 7/8" and they would not work. The angle really closes the width so now it's on to probably the Mako Flame rack. They have a 2" mount and I think the size/look will compliment the new tower. I have a $250 gift certificate for Nice-Rack but I think the Mako looks better. Let me know what you think. I've included the URL's.

Another benefit to the Make is the insert is not the same old round rubber and will protect the board edge much better.

I think the Nice Racks look good.

We got these and are very happy with them.

Stefani, how do you like them compared to the boss adjustables?

One reason we got rid of the boss adjustables was because we needed something that we could remove easily and quickly. Our boat stores in our garage and so we collapse the tower. When we collapse the tower forward, the boss racks would hit the fiberglass on the front bow. So we had to screw them off and on everytime we put away our boat.

These bat racks have quick release and come off and on in 15 seconds:-)

We are happy with them so far. No problems and they look sick.

I'm kind of stuck on those nice-racks too though, they look sick with the flames and all!
