Anyone ever been to the Discovery Bay Boat Show? Is it worth going to?

Depends on what you are looking for and/or expecting. It's more of a local's community event, not really that big. It's fun if you are in the area, but I wouldn't drive far to get here. If you are looking to make a deal on a new boat you will probably want to go to one of the bigger shows.

It is a pretty good show, Not a big event but still fun to attend. What would be more fun is comming out with SBB for a weekend of boarding. We are camping at Orwood and riding all weekend. With a dinner at Woodies on Saturday night. Just throwing it at you since your a local Boy from the B-Hood.

Gary, Let me know when SBB hooks up. I would like to meet some fellow boaters from B-Wood. Couldn't swing camping but we went to Orwood on Saturday and it was packed. We usually on go out on weekdays. That place is crazy on weekends.

I am going to start riding 2 days during the week after work starting after Memorial Day weekend. I am going out this Saturday also will be launching out of Orwood at about 9 am. It looked like the Disco Bay show was pretty good. Take a look at www.southbayboarders.com and there is a post on the Wakeboarding page that has some other info.

yo john ..I just moved to B-wood...we launched at orwood sat and sunday...heading out to ski beach this weekend. wouldent mind hooking up i need to meet more people in this damn town!!

There are quite a few of us in B-town. I live about 5 min from Orwood and ride at least 3 times a week. I am looking to get some more riders together. We also have a wakeboard club put together if your interested. you probably saw the banner when you left Orwood.

We will be heading out of Orwood next week. I'll keep an eye out for your boats. I have a B52 with a black hull and white flames. If there is more than one look for the family with the half sleeve tattoos.
