Craig I had wondered what happened to this boat. Looks good so far but I would do something about the Z5 bracket to much stainless, or strange shape on that tower IMHO. Looking forward to the graphics. Is this going to be a Lake Worth or Eagle Mountain boat?

Hi Mark, the boat is going to be used most on Joe Pool...

I like the Z5 myself. We've been waiting for them for a while now. We got 4 in last week and each customer seems to be happy so far. Other than the price! lol

Thank GoD!!!!! A Bimini fit for that boat! Those janky biminis they've been coming with have been ridiculous

Not my favorite color combo. Maybe it will improve when the decals get put on.

Do you know if that Z5 Bimini is going to work on other MCs with similar towers? Or is it only on the X-Star? It looks more attractive, more stable, and more useful that the stock biminis that MC has been selling with their ZFT4 towers.

They're going to be available soon. I think we got the first few for customers who had been waiting.
I'm a big fan of Z5's..

Gray Xstar=Winning
Red/Yellow MB=Losing

My least favorite MB yet, and I've seen all the ones with the silly swirls and tribal graphics..

That was a custom order for a customer from Germany. He sat down and ordered it up to match the homeland.

TXMC = Still Undefeated? lol

Who do you think makes the best looking boats?

Lots of great looking boats - digging the new Natique G23/25 and the Tige z3 are just a few to mention.

Very interesting. What do you like best about the G series and the Z3? What makes them stand out as the best looking boats? You said "just a few to mention." What are some other ones?

I think one of the best looking boat of all time was somebody's all white X2 on this site that had a teak platform. From that day I knew I needed to get an all white boat. Well I went almost all white except the black hull which I LOVE but wish I could get a teak platform and not fiberglass.

dont like the G series, MXZ's are cool, i think all the tige's look good ( just got an RZR), supra's are pretty fine, moomba's are plain all MC's look good. but the best.......MC X-30 and X-star. although the TCU is not good colors ( i want to see it with graphics) the x-stars and x-30's with good color schemes are the sickest looking boats out there!! if i had the money i would buy the star on looks alone. just my humble opinion.

DFTR you wouldnt be talking about my old boat would ya? Man I miss that thing. It was soooo clean! You should try to get a teak platform for your MB or at least get the teak look seadek replacement pad. I love your boat too and I think the teak would really make it pop!

Holy "S" there it is!!! This is the one boat that made me fall in love with all white... Best looking X2 EVER and it's all about the teak on the back of it. Would love to option to get a full teak for my MB but not sure I'm ready to throw the coin to get it. Thanks for the love on my boat, it's all inspired from your top pic!

Glad I could help out Josh! Thanks for the compliments. Give Teak World Enterprises a call: 615-444-7269. I think they make all the MC paltforms. Maybe they could make you a custom set up for your MB?! I was considering a Tomcat a couple months ago and thats the avenue I was going to go if I bought an MB. Good luck!

They also made the OEM teak platforms for Malibu and I hear their prices are really good.

I called and spoke to the owner. He quoted me a ballpark of $450-500 for a platform. Pretty reasonable if you ask me!

Jon, that's why I sold it. Everytime I saw a bass boat blow by me at 80 mph I knew I had to have The Flake!

When folding down the tower with the Z5 attached, does the Z5 stick straight up or does it fold down as well?
Old     (bwood357)      Join Date: Mar 2013       04-05-2013, 8:57 AM Reply
when do we get to see the graphics?
Old     (craigtxmc)      Join Date: Oct 2008       04-05-2013, 5:41 PM Reply
The Z5 has release points to allow the fold down but I honestly haven't tried it yet. That's a good question.

Waiting on graphics to be made still.
