It's been a couple years since I've seen a thread like this one. Seems like stereos have gotten more and more wild as the years have gone by. Lets see them! Every install is welcome! Even if you spent a couple hundred bucks post up!

I will bite. My system got started with a new sony headunit and transom remote for my recently purchased nautique super sport.

I then installed an alpine 12 inch sub under the drivers helm.

I bought a polk 5000.5 amp to power the sub with its 1 extra channel

I then bought two wetsounds pro 80s and a 485 for 750$ from a guy on craigslist. With a bit of paint and elbow grease they cleaned up nice.

Four channels of the 5 channel amp give each pro 80 200 rms

I bought a polk 2000.2 amp for the 485 which will give it 500rms

Very very loud system for less than 1500 total. All wires ran through the tower and wired by myself

Nice! the WetSounds was a sweet deal! When you get a little extra cash keep an eye out for a Type R Alpine..Good sub for the buck if you get bored with the S.

Here is mine from a while ago. Still issue free and pounding hard. I enjoy going back and looking at this install. So much work went into it.

Ok My stereo is a work in progress. I've got 8 Polk 6.5 for interiors. Two wetsounds Rev10. And two kicker L7 12's squeezed under the dash. Have a Syn 4 on the 10's. A cadence 1400 watt on the interiors. And a Hifonics Brutus on the Subs. I'd like to swap everything out to wetsounds when it's all said and done. That may come later in the year because I upgraded ballast and prop. I will be adding another set of Rev's and another syn 4 before winter though. The work was done by Jonyb and i have nothing but amazing things to say about his work. I've gotten countless compliments on the install.

I'm planning on bringing it in before winter. Some of the LED strips I bought for the cupholder rings have lights out in them. Also have two more 12's ready to go in the passenger side. But I want more Rev's first 😆

Get used to that on the LED's, it's quite common.

I agree...really nice amp rack...I wonder how it does for ventilation....

The Sinister amps really just don't get hot. The amp rack is really just a trim panel. The top part covers the power and ground distro.

I had planned on using that space to install some fans on temperature sensors to exhaust the heat but it isn't needed.

Here is a terrible shot of the amps prior to the trim panel.

Here it is before I covered it.

Before the acrylic rods and LED's.

Good shot of the boat with the custom Seadek and Wetsounds logo.
