I had a pair of pro 60's on my tower just switched them with a pair of pro 80's. One of the pro 80's sounds like it is only playing highs and no lows. The other one sounds fine any ideas??

Check the cross over settings on the amp, and try switching the right speaker to the left and left to right. Is the same speaker having trouble after that? If so, it could be an internal crossover that's gone out.

Chris,
Since both channels are fed by a single amplifier crossover setting and the tweeter is still functional, the problem is likely within the speaker.
There are two probable causes within the pod; the midbass driver or the passive crossover. Since the only series component on the passive lowpass filter is an inductor the issue is unlikely to be a board component. But it could be the lowpass to speaker connection inside the pod. So take a peek inside. If nothing there is revealed exchange the drivers within the pods which will certainly isolate either the midbass driver or passive crossover board. You should be able to measure DC from the crossover input to the crossover lowpass output. The DCR of the midbass driver should measure 4-ohms or a little lower. If the midbass driver is siezed or the voice coil reads 'open' then it would be the driver. So with a little inspection, a simple swap and the use of a basic multimeter you should have the cause.

If anyone else has the same issue it was the mid base which was out. Took it to wet sounds and they replaced it for me...$150.

how do you pop the ring off the 80's? i know about the phillips screws, but do you have to pry the ring off or what?

Reed,
The midbass driver heavy motor structure is supported by a cradle. This is usually the sticking point. So remove the speaker and try a couple of different rotations with a couple of soft taps to get the speaker to release from the cradle. Getting aggressive with trying to pry the speaker out will not help.
