I just got a chance to ride the Covenant on Carlsbad and I loved it and am thinking of getting one, anything I should know or be warned about before I get it?

you wont go back to riding normal boards

you'll spend half your time while riding making carves butters and surf turns (profile pick) instead of jumping

They are a lot of fun. I got one and rode it for a year. I think it made me a better rider because you learn to edge better. After riding it, I had to go finless on all my other setups.
