Stuff looks good. The boards look like the same shapes, but the bindings look a lot better.

ive seen it in person and it looks really good! the new boots are amazing! way lighter than the 07s which were already light!

plus they look sicker than the white ones... i thought the girl ones looked cool too

i saw the black ones before they were 100% final, but they were pretty sick, full intution liners they weighed almost nothing!

I want to ride one soooo bad. I can see every board being like them in a few years.

honestly i dont think ill ever go back to a normal board, i dont know why i would?

I will agree with entrust. There is no going back to a traditional board. My Recoil is so much fun to ride.

my son is 75 lbs and 134 is just to big. would be cool if they made something around 124 to 127.

sick...I am planning to buy a new setup this season (If I have the money) I definitely am going to look into a slingshot, their products look sick

Hey Slingshot riders, how is the ankle support in the current Slingshot Driver boots? I'm worried that the boots won't give as much support as my 07 Watsons. And there's no way I can demo. Thanks for any info.

I would also have a hard time going back to a traditional board.

brutto, I went from the 06 watson to the driver boat and I think it has as much or more ankle support. I have a bad ankle and it used to get sore in my old Era's but not in the Watsons or Drivers.

the current 07 Drivers start out being very stiff and very supportive. After you ride them for awhile, the boots get more flexy. You do keep good ankle support however. The best way to do it is to ride a size down from your normal shoe size.
You will be just fine if you are concerned about the ankle support, give em a shot!

yep i think they should make a kids size though.... like 125 or 126 tht would be sweet

Does anyone know when we will be able to purchase the 08 stuff? Or is it in any stores already?

Now that the surf expo is over, I think we will start seeing the 08 stuff released.

Slingshot is sponsoring our tournament and they are sending a representative down for a few days. He is gonna come out riding with us and bring some equipment. Maybe he will have the 08 stuff for us to demo.

Its a collegiate tournament. If your school doesn't have a club, you can still ride.

Kevin you just said you bought your new slingshot? Is it the 07 or the 08? I have been trying to get ahold of slingshot to get a board and they will not talk to me. Where did you get yours?

Has 07 Response or Recoil with Driver boots for $450

well a friend of mine is a rider for slingshot, so he put me in touch with the rep, and i got the most rediculously low price ever on an entire 07 setup. i dont know if im allowed to say what that price was though. there is only one shop in tx right now with em, however they got a lot more for 08 i think. if i were you i would just call the rider hotline for info on where you can get a set up, at least this time of year you wont have to pay 900 bucks for a full 07 set up
