Is the '08 Hyperlite Premier that much lighter?

Has anyone had a chance to pick up one of the new '08 Premiers to see if it is that much lighter than years past? I have wanted to try the board, but that thing felt like a tank compared to other boards I have had. Is it really noticably lighter this year like they say?

Yes it is, it has a 17% thinner overall profile for 08.

it is noticeably thinner and lighter than the previous models, definitely worth a demo!! Almost picked it up, but decided to get the new Hyperlite Tribute, designed by the owner of WakeSpace!!
