Has anyone attempted grinding down slingshot fins, or any other fins for that matter? Id like to stick with the non metal slingshot fins but i want them to be smaller... Any ideas? -Thanks

I ground down the fins on my wake skate with a belt grinder. They were 1.5", but are now about .75". It worked fine... I did, however, seal them up with resin after though.

probably not going to work because the screw holes with the slingshot fins go almost all the way through as it is. I know mine do anyways on the old and the new (the new ones are semi clear like the old rainbow fins, so you could at least see how far to take them down.) If you are using the long base fins then switch to the short base fins, it was a huge improvement for me anyways!

I dont think there is much difference between the short base fins that are .75 and finless to be honest. You might just go finless, I know a lot of people do.
