So I bought a 1984 Kawasaki 550 Jet Ski earlier this year. It is going to sit in an unheated garage all winter, and I was wondering if anyone knows if I have to do any sort of winterization to it. seems too simple to need anything but any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Top off gas and add stabilizer to it. Run motor to blow water out of jet pump. Fog cylinder to prevent rust. Pretty sure that should do it.

Flush the motor out with tap water if you can, run till it stops spitting water, fog heads, add stabilizer to the gas, spray WD40 on the steering cable by jet exhaust.. That's all.

Go to www.pwctoday.com You will need to make sure to get all the water out of the exhaust without over heating the ski.

The engine/exhaust will need to be flushed with RV antifreeze. The machine does not need to be started for this to take place.

Never did with mine and had no problems. It was a 1200.
