Just curious if anyone knows a good way to rent a wake boat in Northern Idaho for a reasonable price?

Also, how does everyone feel about renting their boats? Or the rental wake boat market?

Good idea? Still charge too much? Too big of an insurance risk?

The couple sites I've seen say renting takes the hassle out of owning a boat, but it seems like renting a boat at the lake you want costs as much as a down payment and all the paper work you have to deal with seems like owning would be much more satisfying.

Thoughts on renting versus owning?

There is no where in the Coeur d' Alene area that I know of that rents wakeboats. We offer Cobalt rentals for the day, however you can not be towed behind them. We gets calls all the time for this at our dealership and it just doesnt pencil out. The insurance that we would have to carry would cost a small fortune.

Own, then rent yours when you aren't using it.

*Thats an awful idea and don't take it to heart.

Bret, I am in CDA. If you ever want to hook up for a beer or something let me know. I only know of one other WW'er in the area. I'm always up for riding, but am boatless. I know how to drive a boat, have my own gear, know how to tow and back a trailer. If you ever need a 3rd or just want to hook up let me know.

Thanks, Brad.
