I found one for a decent price.350 Chevy I/O just completely rebuilt. Was Wondering if anyone on here owns or knows anything about this year and the level of noise the motor will make with the exhaust being right there and if it makes a decent wake.

I don't know about the 85, but I have an 86. We are by no means that good at wakeboarding but we can't complain. The wake is nice and if you load it up some it gets good sized for the size of the boat. I have the Ford 351 in it, and I like the sound of the exhaust, alittle loud but doesn't bother anyone on our lake. What are they asking for it? I added a monster tower with racks and mirror and it was the best thing I did, saves on the small amount of room. But I can never get people to go with me. I think I got a total of 6 times out all summer. I am sure I have some pics at home if you are interested. good luck

Oh yea...also have to be careful when you load it up that you don't wash the bow due to the lowfreeboard. But has been a strong and great boat.
