So I have had a tower mirror on my boat since 2004 and did not have to mess with it every time I cover up the boat. Anyone sell a tower bracket for this tower yet?

I was told that Samson was going to build one last year and they took some measurements of my 2010. I have heard nothing more since. I have just gotten use to the windshield mirror. Call Samson and put some more heat on them. I know Scott took measurements and intended on doing it.

I have a 2011 launch 242 with the progressive tower. I went with this mirror:

We have the 100 since that was the only one available at the time. I'd go for the 200 now to have a wider field of view. It is ultrahigh quality, rock steady and folds down to allow the cover to go on without removing the mirror.

How does it hook on Kevin? Can you post a pic of yours with it on?

The base clamps to the windshield frame over the entire width of the base. It has rubber inserts inside and a lip on the upper and lower base parts that wraps past the edge of the frame to make sure it does slip off. The 2 sockethead cap screws seen on the bottom of the base are used to clamp the 2 halves together. The knob on the back is the lock to hold it in the 3 positions, up, straight back ( not shown), and all the way down inside.
