So I thought something was wrong with my water pump adapter, so i replaced it. Still didnt work on either of my cigarette lighters on my boat. Tested it from my car and it works. Sooo did my cigarette lighters on my boat mess up? Do I just replace the fuse? If so, where are they commonly found? I have an 05 Centurion.

On my '05 Centurion the fuse panel is under the dash. The fuses are all very well marked.

My fuse blew when we pumped up our tube. They are like less than 25 cents. You can get a pack of them at Home Depot for like a couple of bucks. The fuses on your boat should be under the dash, easy to find. Always keep extra so in case one blows. You don't want to be on the water all day with no stereo.

On a Tige, they are also under the dash. I blew one once as well.

Thanks alot everyone. I will make a run to Home Depot.
Hey There Kevin, been going to Mission Bay the last few weekends and getting the course there. Fun but hate the extra boat cleanup.

Paola:

Before you run to Home Depot take a look under the dash and figure out what you need.

A lot of boats use circuit breakers instead of fuses. The push button types are the most common, if it has popped the button will be sticking out, just push it back in.

At the very least you need to know what type of fuse and the amperage.

I had the same problem. It took a while but I finally figured out my 4 year old son had put a nickle in the cigarette lighter. I have the push button circuit breaker and I must have reset that thing like 100 times before I looked in there and saw that nickle.

Thanks All. I looked under the dash and used the fuse for the shower I dont have to test it and yup the fuse for the cigarette lighter was bad. Yeah!!! Finally a simple fix and inexpensive!!!
