I racked up 104 hours in 4 months. So I figure I'm on track for about 250 a year, and I ride Evans boat half of the time.

Good Lord, Hmmm...280 hrs on '92 Supra Mariah, all original. Do you guys ever eat, sleep, work,... or do anything besides boarding? With usage like some of you, i can see how you could justify a diesel. Does the cost of gas not KILL you? DKJ

You have to rememember we run two boats. We have Shaun's 226 as well, that has about the same. And, I'm not trying to kill myself any more. I use to do at least that in a year, but as I age other things take priority.

My '95 Nautique only has 650 hours on it so far. The most hours I've ever seen on a ski or wakeboard boat though was my old waterski team's 1991 Ski Nautique. When we sold it in 2003, it had around 4400 hours on it almost all in salt water. That included a rebuild of the original engine, replaced the rebuilt engine with a new engine, and later installed a new transmission. That boat was in the salt everyday, usually twice a day. Best workhorse I ever saw.

two different boats...6 months 130 hours. Over a ten year period if I had only owned one boat rather than 4 different ones 1259. It was an awesome way to raise two kids.

I was just wondering? When you change the engine and the trans, wouldn't your hours start over and not continue b\c that way you can have 10,000+ hrs on a boat...with like 5 different engines.

Big ed I would say no just because everything that was not rebuilt will still have that many hour's. You would not say miles start back at zero in a car just because you rebuilt the motor.

I agree, Aaron. The hull and everything else still has all those hours, although you do consider the new/rebuilt engine when determining how old.
