Has anyone installed the NVS 1010's on a 2004 SAN or know if it will work. My boat came with the newer style tower correct craft used in 04. I want to put a pair up there but dont want to spend the money if it isnt going to work. Any help would be appreciated. If you have any pictures can you post them too.

RodE, I was the 1st one to install a pair of NVS 1010's on a 2004 SAN. They will not fit, you will need to make a spacer around 1 1/2 long to drop the 1010's down to clear the bend in the tower. This will help you to push the speakers to the outside. With all that done they will fit, but it is very very tight. Pictures will come soon.

Whirlybird,
Thanks for the info. If you could post pictures I would appreciate it. Im really considering going with the 1010's and getting rid of my b-530's and b-50's. What amp are you going to use to drive yours? Right now I have a phoenix gold 4 channel drving my setup. Im hoping to use the same amp.
Thanks again for the info.

Thanks to Whirlybird's discovery, we now supply this spacer at no extra charge. Clamps for this tower are 1 7/8" dia.
Any pics there Whirlybird?

Whirlybird,
Thanks for the info and the pictures. I didnt realize that I was going to have to purchase another amp. I was hoping to not have to run another one.
Let me tell you what I have currently and you tell me if I need another one. I am running the phoenix gold octane series:
1 - R9.0:5 Which is a 5 channel amp running the interior speakers and a solobaric 10 sub.
1 - R8.0.4 running a pair of b-530's and b-50's.
I was looking at the power ratings on the tower speaker amp and bridged is 400 max output and 250 continous.
Duane if you have any recomendations please chim in as well.
Im really considering selling the other tower speakers and going with the NVS.

RodE, I would go with Duane, and buy the amp he is talking about. You will need all the power you can get, IMO.

Duane, can you post the new Polk Momo grilles. Does it match the new SAN grill...
