it has been called the three one three and the three thirteen. and it is probably the sickest raley based move.

Thats a raley to fs 3?

I have heard it three thirteen, there is nothing like Josh Sanders taking one of those out into the flats, I think that I have seen Murray throw some nice 313's also.

parks used to do them all the time back in the late 90s and early 2000s, murray and gerry nunn are the only riders i still see throwin them and they through them huge

Adkinsons got a great 313! cant cheat that trick tho- you have to do a full, extended raley then then a three.

I always called it the 3 13.

There a cool guy Scott that I rode with a couple times,he posts here on WW.He does them all the time, clean and all the way in the flats.I think his WW name is Scott313.

I find the Blind Judge to be a greater sign of commitment. Raley to bs 180.

We saw Gerry Nunn pull one as his "Warm up trick" during his Back Yard Tour. Absolutely huge and unbelievable.

What's a 313? 360 to raley or raley to 360
Old     (bendow)      Join Date: Sep 2005       04-30-2007, 7:11 PM Reply
raley then 360 when you bring it down

the 3:13 came from an inside quote from Parks and myself back during a pro tour stop meeting probably somewhere around 97'. without going into too many details...we were sitting in a meeting after the prelims in shreveport when we used to ride with the ski course in our course and there were bouys everywhere. some riders were complaining about all the bouys especially this one particular one in the way and they were debating taking it out and parks and i sat in the back and looked at eachother at the same time and both said "I jumped the bouy." like in a no big deal joking manner. for some reason we picked the time 3:13 on our watches around that time, possibly because that was the time of the meeting, and we set our watches and alarms to 3:13 to go off at the same time and each day whereever we were we would pretend to jump the bouy at 3:13. pretty silly sounding, but everyone, including shane, his mom betty, my mom, my brothers, other riders etc...started setting their watches to 3:13 and jumping the imaginary bouy knowing everyone was doing the same thing no matter where they were. about that time parks came out to ride at my house and went for a raley f/s 360 and made it. I went out shortly after and did one too and we decided we needed to name it together and the 3:13 came about. so that wasn't so short, but i think that is the first time i remembered the full reason, so save that somewhere so i don't have to bore anyone else with that again.

If its a hoochie to bs or fs 360 its a hoochie 313, so I figure its the same concept. Call it a blind 313.

Hey Shaun- If you have any more insight on some other moves I'm sure all of us would be all ears.

Ex. S-bend (I heard Shannon Best named it)
911(Parks?)
scarecrow(Brannon Meek?)
KGB (Gregg Nacrason?)

These are just a few. If any move has as funny story as the 313 I would love to hear it.

maybe with the 911 they had to call the number so many times when he was trying it, they eventually called it the 911 haha

S-bend (Shannon Best) named after the pipe in the back of an Australian Toilet. REALLY

911- (Parks) not sure?

Scarecrow - (Meek) not sure?

KGB - Gregg and I were racing to see who could do it first. Landed the same day. Afterwards we were brainstorming names. KGB was just a name we gave it as an inside joke. We thought it would be known as a blind mobe.

Skeezer (Byerly) not sure?

Elephant - (Necrason) I beleive because gregg did it as big as an elephant, could be wrong though...

90210 - invented by Mark "Turtle" McNamara
A true toeside 540 s-bend

As I remember, this was a time where tricks were being invented left and right. Mark called it a 90210 as a joke.

Maybe some more info will help...

KGB (Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti) is the Russian-language abbreviation for Committee for State Security. The KGB was the umbrella organization name for the Soviet Union's premier security, secret police, and intelligence agency, from 1954 to 1991.

Roughly, the KGB's operational domain encompassed functions and powers like those exercised by the United States' Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the counter-intelligence (internal security) division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the National Security Agency, the Federal Protective Service, and the Secret Service in the United States, or by the twin organisations MI5 and MI6 in the United Kingdom.
