I am contemplating picking up a Sanger DLX that is equipped with the proflight swoop tower. I did a search and couldnt find any info regarding if it may fit in my garage. I am a little nervous as my garage is only 7 feet 8 inches tall and 9 feet wide. Length shouldn't be an issue as the garage is 23 feet deep and the trailer has a swing away tongue. The other issue I may have is there is a slight incline leading in to my garage, will this make my garage clearance actually less than the 7-8? Will the tower fit in the garage folded? Thanks in advance to anyone with any info!

Ryan

It will fit. My garage is only 7 ft, I have a V215 with the same tower, and I dont have any issues....

Depends on how high the boat sits on the trailer... our old centurion wouldn't fit in the garage with that tower dropped, but just measure it, if its real close just drop the pressure in the tires for when you put it in and out.Upload

Ryan, Ive got a 03 v210 with the proflight swoop tower and it fits fine in my garage with a 7ft door. If your garage is 7'8" then youve got nothing to worry about.

It was about 2 1/2 inches too tall so instead of cramming we added.

Hey fellas thanks so much! All of you are making me jealous with all those nice V drives. I would love to find a used v210, but there is not much available here around Idaho and I have found a decent deal on a DLX. I am pumped to possibly have a Sanger after all I have read about them. It will be my first inboard, coming from a 1976 fiberform so quite a step up for me. Just hope I don't outgrow the direct drive to quick! Thanks again.

That DLX is a great boat, and trust me, us V drive guys get jealous when you can easily work on your boat.
