I currently find myself in Barcelona Spain and will be heading trhough Italy, Switzerland and Germany pretty soon. I am looking for some wakeboard opportunities either through personal reference or what anyone might have past experiences with. Cable parks, people who own boats on small lakes, anything! :-)

Anyone have some leads or some good reccomendations

Gracias

Brennan

Hi to go behind a boat in Germany look at www.wakesport.de or at the german forum wakeforum.de, there You will also find some contacts for the cable parks.
In Switzerland there are mainly boat spots. A good summary can be found under www.wakezone.ch.
In Italy there are some places at the lago maggiore, the lago lugano an there is a wakeschool by Cyril Cornaro. You can visit this one under www.eurowakeconnection.com.
If You still stay in Spain You can go to www.wakeskicaspe.com.
Man there are so much more, but I´m getting tired.
Oh one thing You should miss if You can make it ist the "Chill & Ride" in Germany at the 02. and 03 of june. Look at http://wakeboard1.itxmedia.de/cycon/portal/loader.php?seite=news_detail&navigation=201&system _id=4326&com=detail

cool please let me know, also it looks like the boardstock thing in germany is july 2 and 3 not june, for anyone else reading, thanks heinz for your help.

the school in italy looks cool but in reality im just looking for a nice person with a board and a boat to rip around with if they need company, not someone whos looking for a lot of cash to teach me.

I'll take you out for a days boarding for beer money :-)

http://www.wakeboardbodensee.com/

Switzerland/Austria/Germany share lake Bodensee. I was there a month ago.

I stopped at a couple cable parks in Germany and both were good. Just pick one close to where your travelling.

If you go to Palma de Mallorca (Spain), just half an hour by plane from Barcelona, try to find Palma Nova, Cala Nova. There are a lot of places to practice wakeboard in this island.
Palma harbor is a good one between 8:00 to 13:30 AM.
