so hopefully we can be upgrading our boat before next season(long time)and if been doing a lot of research and have learned almost every thing i need to know about them except one crucial thing draft. for some reason boat companys hide this even wakeboarding mag wont tell you the draft. we go to a very shallow river and i know big v-drives fit but i would like to know the draft on some boats. heres the list
1 09 tige rz2
2 09 epic 23v
3 09 tige z1
4 09 X-star
5 09 supreme 226
6 09 axis
7 09 vlx
8 09 supra 22v
9 09 X-15
10 09 tige 22ve
11 09 moomba xlv
12 09 moomba lsv
13 00 tige 21i(my current boat for comparison)

sorry if i sound demanding thanks for any help

i still think it is absolutely ridiculous that tige's website wont say their boats draft. like i know its a minor problem but it just puts me 1 step farther away from tige.

Yeah thats a good reason to be 1 step further from buying any wakeboat.

Seeing that they are all generally within inches of each other.

I guess if your home lake/river is on average 3 feet deep I can see your concern.

Axis A22- 27" draft

1. These wake boats don't vary much more than a few inches of each other

2. Measurement is an approximation anyway. The salinity of the water has a huge impact on Draft. What if you have 4 people in the boat vs 1 vs 10?

Hey man just stop by your local dealers or call them. Your looking at boats that range from 40k to 90k I gotta think you can slim it down to where your real number is to about 5 boats or less. Call your local dealer he or she will help you!!!!

good point tampa but since it could be several month away from when we buy. those dealers will be on me like flys on $H!+.

1 09 tige rz2 ???
2 09 epic 23v ???
3 09 tige z1 ???
4 09 X-star 28in
5 09 supreme 226 ???
6 09 axis 27in
7 09 vlx 24in
8 09 supra 22v 25in
9 09 X-15 26.5in
10 09 tige 22ve ???
11 09 moomba xlv 26
12 09 moomba lsv 24
13 00 tige 21i(my current boat for comparison) ???

and yes there are some extremely sketchy spots on my river especially earlier in the day when the water isn't all the way in.

if your river is sketchy plan on hitting regardless of draft. invest in spare props.
For a quick rule of thumb look at the transom, the deeper the V, the deeper the draft. the heavier deeper V boats get into the 30 inch range, sometimes more.
You will need to empty ballast, drop speed, and put peeps in the bow when traversing shoals. Are they marked?
Also remember your depth sounder will have trouble when the water is very shallow.

thats why im asking for draft because i want optimal wake with least draft and we have an extra prop
