Pretty please

I am going to throw 4 of them on my tower in a enclosure (more on that to follow once it gets here). I dont care very much about hearing it 80' back, its more for in and around the boat.

I will be pushing it with a stock Clarion 4channel, 300watt marine amp rated at 2 ohms.

Look into a set of Pioneers. I believe you can get three way Pioneers that push a good watt for very little money. I had the 6.5" in the Brendella.

Check out the new rockford power series. They are pretty efficient so you can run them off a smaller amp. They have a good sound, and most of my customers say that they are the best looking spk. on my display.

Thanks everyone.

My boat is yellow, but the speaker enclosure is black. I really wish I could find a way to add LED lights in them that are powered by the speaker....but that's asking a little much.

So far I have narrowed it down to...

Kickers
Alpine
Pioneer

They are all about the same price if you look for a few minutes. I just need a tie breaker.

Those are a few bucks more than the Alpine or Kickers.....if you say its worth it I will trust your judgement.

Will I need a larger amp to push those? Does it matter if you don't feed them enough power?

Alpine 69LP speakers kick ass. I have them in my enclosure and they sound great.
