how accurate are the pictures of the boards on WW? for example if you overlay a picture of the murray 135 and a picture of the pulse 135 will it show you which is wider at the tip and which is wider at the mid??

The Murray is AWESOME. It rides like no other board on the market.

what size are you scott if you dont mind me asking?
Cause i ride the 138 murray quite comfortably for my size and from pics the 08 murray looks as wide if not wider than the 135 3ds which already has more surface area than my 138 which in theory should be easier to keep my weight plaining through the water.

Chris....135 would carry you just fine...that is the board i got to demo...very nice ride... I am 5'7" checking in at 163lbs. Just going a little larger so I don't stub the landings. so i am getting the 140...if i decide that it is too big..then i will scale down to the 135..right now i have 4" of snow on the ground..so it will be a while before i know. i am doing a polar bear ski and wake next week...but i very much doubt i will try to pull any tricks..just out for the ride.

Yeah fair enough. I tried to do some calculations from the picture on wakeside which seems to be a pic of the actual bored not an artist impression and from my calculations it is wider at the tip and mid than the prem the 3ds and even the byerly although the byerly is only just smaller so it looks like it will be a board that caters a number of people and it will come down to personal preaferance if you like the short board or a longer board. I think i will just demo the 135 and go from there but i will be waiting till next year as they are slow on delivery!!!

I got the new Pulse. it is a sick lookin board.it is a lighter board and the fines are smaller than the 3DS that it replaced. Cant wait to be able to ride it

Scott my son got a 08 Pulse in September, he's been riding the 3DS for the last couple of years, said it rode the same for him, but he has always rode with the 0.8 P-wing fins. he has always like the board. Super fast when you get it locked in on the rail.
