hyperlite bindings

I broke my old Marek and bindings, and hyperlite gave me a credit. I want to buy the new Marek with the bindings. My question is: what is the benefit to the snowboard type bindings? If I don't ride cable parks, should I just stick with the earlier year models?

Another question: I'm 6'3 and 195lbs. What size Marek should I get? Before I rode a 143, and liked it but was wondering if the next size up would benefit my riding.

The next size up wouldnt hurt your riding, the extra flotation would give you more pop. Preference.
