Hey everyone. My buddy owns an '03 Moomba Outback with 310 hp. there is a 600 lb. sac in the rear but he is looking to add more weight all around (front and rear) the question I have is how much weight should he add to the back before adding to the bow? He is thinking about getting a 750 lb bow sac and some side sacs. Does anyone have any suggestions.

For every 100 lbs in the back you want to put 40 in the front
60/40 ratio is usually best.
more in the back for a lippy/vert wake, more in the front for a rampy wake.

Experiment.

Every boat will be different, as well as your personal preference on wake shape.

keep in mind you don't have to fill the sacks all the way.

kevin - thats 1:2.5 what you mean is 1:1.5

but, like Rod said, every boat is different. move it around until your happy. Industrial sand bags weigh @ 60lbs depending how full you want them. If you have access to some sand, it make it really easy to move around. Filling then draining a 600lb takes a while, plus you can move sand on the fly

Any suggestions other than sand bags. I have used them in the past for other things and the bags can rip and cause a mess. We have tried filling totes with water and sealing them, but that was a hassle
