How often are you adjusting your shaft log packing nut? I purchased a used 2002 Supra SSV and I have almost 300 hours on it and I noticed that what is supposed to be a drop of water every 15-30 seconds is more like a constant flow.

Do you know what size wrenches are required as I will have to go out and buy a couple.

Thanks for your help,
John

1-7/8" wrench and you will only need one. Loosen the locking nut, tighten the adjusting nut by hand until the right drip is acheived then tighten the locking nut with the wrench. $29.99 is spendy I think I paid less a while back but it's a sweet tool. I also see a lot of DIY guys on here cut down a 1-7/8" wrench handle to make it shorter.

I have 680 hours on my Nautique and have only had to tighten it once. I just lightly used a pipe wrench.

Had to tighten mine on my V210 after about 300 hours. Bottom line is if it's leaking more than it should it will need to be tightened.
