Here is the new and improved Two Turntables - Eargasm II (not a LT install)

It's a nice clean install, sorry I don't have the inside shots.

That boat must pound, what did they hit on the dB level? Not a big fan of the tweeter mount they did though on the dash. That is one crazy amp install.

Holy! The Green Monster looks like it could pump out some serious bass! Think if all of those boats were linked up and playing together, that would be bad azz!

Thanks for the pics!

MADNESS, ABSOLUTE MADNESS. You would think that Bu was a sponsored boat or something. I love the picture of the water dancing around hull. Boats not for me but I can certainly appreciate the system and effort that went into it. I'm with you nu bu the tweeter install doesn't seem to flow with the rest of the system.

What type of subs are in that thing?

Eargasm looks good and clean but I thought he was going with a custom tower box? Either way I bet it sounds amazing. Ben's too looks nice and clean and I'm sure sounds great.

All in all it looks like an awesome time.

Hate those look like Arc Audio subs to me.

Its cool and all, but sometimes I think its more about the boat and show then it is about the actual sport anymore.

Those are ARC subs, 8 in total. That boat was ridiculous. Those components are Focal and bad a**. Matt not everyone is hardcore into boarding, some of us like to chill and party with friends.

they are actually big surfers. they arent into boarding so much but that setup is really good for surfing. that boat is the sickest ive seen yet.

with regards to those Focals. They sound incredible. thats what i have in my car. however i dont think they are weather resistent at all. not to mention the ones on the tower are coaxials. if im not mistaken coaxials arent sealed. so couldnt moisture get into those cans and just wreak havoc? They sound great but i really wouldnt ever put them on a tower, especially when it rains.

Yeah, that LT Malibu shook the lake for 3 days straight. I'm pretty sure that most of the lakes fish died.

total overkill. wake is soul not bling.
Old    mendo247            05-05-2008, 7:27 AM Reply
Yeah i agree, its all about the soul!
Old     (taylormade)      Join Date: Jun 2001       05-05-2008, 8:11 AM Reply
I disagree. I associate surfing with "soul", not wake. Wake SCREAMS "hey look at me!!!" down to the one wake fashion air.

I don't think you can consider something that requires a boat, a driver, a rope and a wake "soulful".

You can be passionate, obsessive, centered or whatever about it, but let's not start talking soul.

Just my .02, from an old guy.

Nice installs. The only thing I don't like in the green monster is it looks like the whole floor in the main cabin is taken up by amps. At what point does it become too much?

Couldnt have said it better Scott.

Wonder how many screws and bolts that bass is going to shake loose?

Dave, I agree with you, at what point is it too much.

My system is great for what I want, but I would never go so far that boat storage or boat use is compromised.

Turn tables, sub woofers hidden under every seat, flat screen tv's., amps and batteries. We all have our hobbies.

Yeah that boats system sounded great and pounded pretty hard too. Too bad the competition measured DB's from the front seat. That boat only hit 135db's from the front seat.

i would like to have a bigger stereo in my boat but i'm not going to exchange fat sacs for subs. and thats because my soul tells me to have a huge wake that i can drain when i trailer

Focals are definetly the shizz and up their with the best of em.

It looks like the bass is popping the grill of the mid in the close up shot. I know that Sampson use Focal in their tower speaker applications so they must have some lines that are ok for marine environments.
