I am having a few problems and would like some un-bias advice.
First off I just moved to Ft. Walton Beach, FL and from everyone I have talked to the only wakeboarding within an hour or so is in salt/brackish water. What is this going to do to a boat?
Second, I just sold my Super Air 210 and looking to buy a new boat. I am looking at the new Super Air 226 and the new X-Star. Both have freshwater cooled engines and the X-Star is a saltwater series. I know I would get the big motor in the Nautique, but the XStar SS has the 375 hp. engine. I do weight my boats pretty good, maybe an additional 2500-3000 lbs. w/3 to 4 people. Will this motor struggle? I would get the L18 but summer is coming and I would have to specially order it which means 2 months. Thanks for your help guys

Nice problem to have, I have the XStar with the mcx 350 hp and it is ok, just got the boat, should be better with the 375. I like all the extra stuff on the SS
