I picked up my new Enzo 244 from Family Powersports in Weatherford, TX. Dropping it off at Earmark tomorrow for new WS system. I love this boat. The new layout makes the interior huge! I can wait to surf it!

Great looking boat.. The red helm isn't my deal but it sure sets the boat off from the norm... Congrats - you're going to LOVE surfing that thing.

We have the red helm n ours and to be honest i was not sure I was going to like it....but I do and we have had nothing but great comments from the people that have been in the boat
Old     (jeff_mn)      Join Date: Jul 2009       09-22-2011, 9:01 AM Reply
for sure - that's totally different and much preferable to the colored gel coat that shines and reflects all over.

I did not order the boat, so the helm came that way. To be honest, when I 1st saw the boat it was just from pics. I was not to keen on the red either. However, when you get in the boat, it is so big that it actually breaks up the interior in a good way. Now I am definitely glad it is red.

one pic of it at the lake this morning. It the 244 makes my Denali XL look small.

I am in the market for a new boat. Why did you pick this boat? ? How is the Surf wake and how does it ride in rought chop?

That boat is a beast. A beautiful beast. I absolutely love the size and simple nature of the interior. The colors are great as well. I am very jealous. now I brought up the cup holders in the bow in another thread and it likes they have done something but I am not entirely keen on the execution. Looks too much like an afterthought. I am not really sure why they don't do the bow like a lot of boats and have cutouts in the side with a couple cup holders on each side a pod for speakers. That is obviously a small deal though.

how a re you going to setup the surf ballast? Are you going to plumb in Enzo sacks on top of the 500/each side quick fill? If so that thing will throw a mackin wake with all or almost all of the ballast hidden.

Tal, I have no personal experience but the Enzo is one of the premier surf boats on the market.

wow that has to be one of the longest wakeboard boat/tow vehicle setups you can get! awesome. I wanna see more of that interior. the few pictures i've seen make the 244's interior look bigger than the 247's...

Surf: I think it is the best surf wave on the market. I think you would find it hard for anybody to argue it is not in the top 3
Chop: it as a Deep V hull with a 30 inch draft so it has the smoothest ride in the chop

Brett: It will get a custom set up in the spring. I have a bunch of sacs I will play with at first to get it the way I want and then I will get the right gear ordered. Best guess is that I will run another 700-800lbs in locker and replace the current side sacks with 600-700lbs finger sacs. You cant run a true Enzo sac anymore because the new Enzo has a wall between the locker and the area under the seats.

Right now it has 500lbs of quick feel in each locker, 600lbs in bow, 300lbs on each side under seats and 300lbs in a center tank for about 2,200lbs.

It honestly feels as big as the Bu 247 or the Supra 242. All 3 have the same type of layout with the bow pushed forward

Wow, is the quick fill 500/each side the only stock ballast or is all that stock? Is the 600 in the bow under the floor and using pumps or is it some sort of bow integrated sack with pump(s)? Either way that shoudl be very versatile with 500 under the floor on each side, 600 in the bow, 750 in each rear vdrive locker and 600 or so under the side seats on each side. 1000+600+1200+1500=4300 total in ballast. I would think that would give you the option to have an awesome surf wake with all the ballast on one side filled and maybe the bow while also allowing for a real nice wakeboard wake with the quick fill and sideseat sack filled. ~2200 for ballast all cented for boarding.

Awesome boat! Got to love the Denali air suspension. That huge boat attached and the rear end is barely sagging.

Saw the boat in person this morning. As impressive as the pictures are this boat looks way better up close and personal. Very rich appearance with the appointments, contrasting colors and textures.

the 2 500lbs quick fill are the only standard ballast. The bow ballast is an option and the center/2 side ballast are a 2nd option. I believe I have all of the ballast options possible. These are all options from Centurion. When I add sacs to the back lockers and upgrade the side sacs, it should provide a lot of flexibility for both a great surf wake and wakeboard wake with most (if not all) of the weight under the seats.

Sorry to keep asking questions but is the bow ballast option an integrated bow sack under the bow seats or is it a tank under the floor up in front of the fuel tank?

Quick Fill: 500lbs each locker in tanks under floor. Gated fill/empty system
Center: 300lb tank under floor, ballast puppy fill/aerator pump empty
Bow/side ballast: integrated sac under seats (on top of floor), ballast puppy fill/aerator pump empty

Thanks. I wonder if you can have one built that doesn't have the 300 center ballast and just has a bigger fuel tank. Not sure the fuel tank size in that boat but I know they use to have that option on some of their boats.

Thanks for all of the complements. The pics really do not show the details. The red trim in the gel coat (around the black ovation under the rub rail and around the black stripe above the rub rail) is a metal flake that really shines when light hits it and the red vinyl has a texture to it that is really cool. I also forgot, it throws an insane surf wave.
