Does anyone else have the issue of the boat pulling to the right when powering off the trailor at the dock? My Sanger constantly goes to the right. Very hard to control in reverse.

That what V-drives and direct drives do. It's normal. They only turn one way in reverse.

what walt said...

nice looking boat!

it will take a while to get used to, but once you master it, it becomes no problem. just another reason why others can't drive :-)

Once you learn you don't even have to back off but you learn how to slide it off with ease..

Hint
with the boat in the water start her up, then have the truck back up (normally no gas pedal needed) and HIT the brakes! The trailor will come to asudden complete stop and your boat will slide off like its on glass...

The back end right hand pull is common to all inboards, but my new V215 pulls much harder than my old DLX. I just crank the wheel to the right and feather it forward to straighten out the boat and continue back.

The new Epic wake boat can reverse in either direction.

Shawn, my wife tried what you suggested and it worked like a charm. She says "Thanks".
