There are "no" Men’s or Girls boards, its all about weight the smaller ones might be girly colors but that just because there aren’t many 80pound men.

I'm a girl and have ridden- actually learned- on a guys board. You can ride anything but everyone who's posted is right, its all about comfort and preference.

Yea you can ride any board really, doesnt matter if your a girl or guy. Im a girl and i have an 05 Absolute 135 and i absolutely love it. So demo both boards and just get whichever you like riding best.

Boys,Girls, they all ride the same wakeboards. the only reason some say that they are for girls is because their smaller.

This is gonna sounds stupid but i have never demoed a board before...do the stores just let you take the board and try or what?? thanks for all your help guys its be really helpful

Most stores charge you a per-day fee (15-20 bucks) and when you're ready to buy, they'll apply all your rental fees towards the price of the board. As long as you end up buying your board from the same place you demo'd it, you essentially pay nothing extra to try before you buy.

Kelsey, that didn't sound stupid. Are you a beginner? When I started riding last year, I was fortunate... Had a good bunch of friends who let me try out their boards & bindings before I bought one of my own. As far as the "girls" boards... True, the girly looking ones are just smaller. I found that as a beginner/intermediate rider, I actually prefer a larger board, because it feels more stable. I am the same height as you, and I ride a Premier 140. I like it a lot! But again, just a matter of preference.

It definitely is a matter of preference. I'm 5'9 ride a 134, i like a smaller board because i have more control. Definitely demo or see if your friends will let you ride their boards. And as everyone else said it doesn't matter if you ride a guys or girls board, i ride a "mens" board and "mens" bindings, but they are perfect for me! A lot of girls do.

It is physically impossible. Don't even try it.

d-bo.
quit playing! haha!

kelsey.
i'm a girl and i ride a badass - which is "boylisted". like everyone else said, it's all up to you; if you like it and it works, go with it! the stores that are wakeboarding specific should def let you demo boards. also, ask them if they have a "demo day"; i think that would be PERFECT for you.

good luck, chica!
