I'm going to install tomorrow some FlightClips (2004) on the Flight Control Tower (2001). What is the distance between the 2 flight clips? 10" or more in the range of 15"?

Thanks!

application/pdfFC Wedge Modification
wedge.pdf (57.8 k)

Tommy, I had an 02 with the bolt on FlightClips and I made a wedge to change the angle and move them closer together to fit between the bindings of small riders. Now I have the 04 with the clamp on style FlightClips and still use the wedge spacer to tilt the boards and move then out from the tower tubes a bit. The set up works well now and seems to fit between all the bindings of various riders. Not sure if the PDF format drawing will show, but if not I now have the center distance at 6 3/4". I am sure others will have different opinions, but this works well for me. If you have the clamp on style, put some tape on the tower tubes before you install the brackets so it won't scratch the powder coating and try different positions until you find what works for you.

Good luck!
