I was looking at geting a centurion falcon and then I came across a cyclone. I was told that the cyclone has a differenct hull than the falcon. Is the hull better or worse in the cyclone? Are there any other differences in these two boats?

You might try posting that here with the year of both boats.

If you are talking about relatively new boats the Falcon and Falcon V have really wide beams and are relatively flat bottom. The cyclone has the same basic hull as the Elite V C4 and Avalanche. It is just shorter. The cyclone will be smaller inside but probably have a better surf wake and ride better in rough water.

I have a 2005 cyclone (shorter Avy hull). Completely different boat from the 2010 Cyclone. After they quit making the boat there for a few years, the new boat to my understanding was the same hull as the falcon, but a step up in features and what not...more bling, and all that. You'll get all the details you want over at centurioncrew I am sure.

hey, btw, if you are looking at older cyclones, I'd be glad to answer anything you got. Just let me know.

we love our falcon the falcon has the cascading hull instead of the infini v hull but make no mistake they are different boats the falcon is huge and will have a much better wake board wake and when weighted properly will put out a great surf wave on both sides X3 on the centurioncrew all my mods and pics are over there but here are a couple pics so you can get the idea

Harold, your switchblade makes a HUGE difference though that he is likely not going to see.

agreed the blade makes a big difference but could always be added later I scored mine on E-bay for like $1700 and did the install myself. The boat was a solid performer though before I added it both surf and wake I added it because I did not want any visible ballast I am sure very similar results could be had with just ballast though.

Did you get that really thick, meaty curl after you added yours? Djjamesz has that on his boat too and he has the switchblade also.

it had a curl before the blade but nothing like it is now I should also add that I gutted the factory ballast system in favor of reversible pumps and custom sacks best guess is 1200LBS per sack
