How much do they weigh? Do they have LED Lights in the boards like the 2008? I just heard about the lights in the boards and was wondering if it was true.

Lights in the boards (and therefore batteries) seems like a stupid addition to the light version of the Ronix boards, and it just seems like a really useless feature due to the lack of riding that occurs at night. I hope there arent any lights in them. Other than that really negative sentence, I have nothing of real value to add to this.

They do have the light again this year. Useless...yes. I just carry around a pack of double A's with me so when it goes out I can make sure and have it up and running asap, ok I'm kidding. The lifespan is supposed to be one million blinks. It uses a small battery like you would find in a watch and is not changeable. I agree that it serves no purpose, but they did not have any intention for it other than what has happened here.....Talk about the light means another reason Ronix is brought up in a discussion board.

Man, everyone copies my stuff. I built a surfboard last year with built in flexible electroluminescent light tubes.

I was just wondering if it had any purpose at all.... But I guess it doesn't have any real meaning. I can't find out the weight of the boards anywhere. Anybody know?

That is pretty freaking awesome if you ask me. Than again, I am a 15 year old who can play video games all day.

I'm with you Nick. I am 14 but I feel like a little kid, cause lights on a board seem pretty sick but totally useless at the same time!

It will probably be the same way with me bro. My family is supposed to get a new X-Star in February and that will probably be the next time I will ride... It totally sucks.

Its not just about the weight with the V2's but the response and extended lifespan. They're so much more lively and it last way longer compared to traditional foam cores. If you're going to invest in a board to have for a while I think its totally worth it. Plus LED lights are badass.

Nick, strap on a wetsuit, find a warm day in the weather, and drive to Lake Anna. Hop in the heated part and ride your face off. We have club members who have been doing that over break for a couple of years now.

I might try and buy a wetsuit but it might be a little hard because I am getting a brand new 2009 setup so the cash flow might be a little low. But Lake Anna is nice, I rode in one of the Competitions sponsored by Glass and Powder a few years ago.
