run mine with ballast full (gravity) and 750 on the floor. sometimes a 150 in the bow, but if not tap the plate down a little and it knocks the lip down a little. speed is 23 at 75 or 80. been ridin this set up for a while and seems to work good for me.

teh old or new 22?

BL, with all that weight your only going 23 mph? Is that a GPS'd speed?

In my 07 I'd be running clsoe to 26 ish with that weight. I run less and stay around 24-25 mph. 75-80 feet. My 04 was a bit slower.

600lb sacs in each rear locker
800lb sac in the center locker
600lb sac up in the nose
Usually, wake plate just above the bottom line but no more then 25%.

rope length 91 ft at 26.7 mph

Brian, I think it is important to know which hull. New hull or old hull?

I am trying to dial mine in again too. I had my 07' set up
650 in each of the rear lockers
1150 up belly and then 300 of scattered around the front
Ran roughly 24-25 at 75'
Wake plate around half

In my 09 I have 1150 up front and the two 400's in the rear and having a hard time cleaning it up. I put some of the lead up front and some under the rear facing seat to balance for people that are sitting on the port side. I need to get back out and play around some more.

Thanks guys. I have a 2008 SSV sounds like I need some lead weight or another sack. I have the gravty ballist and have been throwing a extra 300 up front and the wake plate at 60% and still seems to have a to much peak. Speed was set at 24.6 will try 25 and 26 but that seems fast. I am running 80ft rope. Thanks again guys all the info will help...

Brian,
Your problem is probably rope length. I would cut it back to 75'. Being able to keep it clean at 80' will be a work of art.

We ride 75-80 in my 07. the only way we could get it clean was to drop weight out of the rear. I now run v-drive sacs in the rear and the gravity games bag up front, plus 3-5 people. I can keep it clean at 24.6-25.

We run stock ballast in our 2009, 400's on each side of the engine and the 650 in the locker. We then have about 150 lbs of lead in the very front portion of the bow. We normally go with 6-8 people but can be clean at 80' with wakeplate at around 75% at 24.8-25 mph. It's very important to weight the currenty 22SSV evently bow to stern.

My 09 we keep 1150 bags all the way around but have to watch not to get too heavy in back. Normaly we are at 23.4 on 75' but my son, Nick rides at 21.8 at 70'

I have an 08 with the stock g3 setup. we have about 7 or 8 of us in the boat. three of which are well over 6 feet and pushing 250 pounds. normally i run just the front bag and thats it, with a speed of 24mph and a 75' rope and wake plate all the way down. makes for a great long rampy wake. ive tried taking the bags out of my buddys moomba and filling everything plus a 600# front bow bag and you can get these things to put out one hell of a wake!!! you really have to watch you side to side wieght though.
