what a shame, lake travis is down 50 feet below normal (631 ft above sea level), which is the lowest since the 60s. most docks have gone dry including mine with my 24ft supra still on it. every time I look outside, all i see is glass. pray for some rain, guys. i'd love to get some smooth boarding in this fall.

Such a bummer. Was just down there for work last week and we had dinner "on the lake" but we weren't even close to the lake.

Pray for rain!

I was out there a couple weeks ago on a buddy's Tige and was able to see the damage done. There were numerous docks that were beached. Quite an unfortunate thing to see, and sorry about your boat. Got a 'bu on Lake Austin if you are itching to ride, just drop me a line. I'm going to see if I can round up a crew for asunrise sesh before the crowd on Saturday or Sunday.

are there any docks open? we wanted to go out and party there for Labor day, but it looks like we're heading up to lake lewisville in dallas.

Ditto on the scarabs on Lake Austin. They ruined some of the best water on Saturday and Sunday. It was perfect yesterday (Monday). Nothing but glass out there on Lake Austin!!!

Wow, that really sucks! Hope you guys get A LOT of rain! What's the deepest point in that lake? 50ft kinda makes it sound like the whole lake is almost bone dry.

The pic with the dock in little water looks as though there a mine field of concrete blocks and steal posts waiting to destroy your boat.

Lake travis is a deep lake, I think its 200ft+ by the dam and around 100-150 when the lakes up through most of the lake.

That big low pressure system is bringing a lot of rain. I saw some flooding video in Jarrel north of Austin on TV this morning. Here's a prayer for a full lake for you! It's amazing how fast a lake will fill when you start getting runoff.

Yeah we've got a flash flood warning from Friday 1pm all the way to Sunday here in Dallas. Hopefully they get some rain down there!!!
