I tried wearing socks with my hyperlite atlas bindings and loved it. Made them fit snug, and easy to get into when dry. They were a little lose before and wore a painful, quarter sized place on my heel. If i had only worn socks the first time :-(

Any skeptics should definitely try it if you're not supported quite enough.

Is anyone making wakeboarding socks yet?

I might have to try it... but does a removable, heat-moldable LINER/booty already count as a sock in some degree? ;) (rockin' the slingshot D2 boots)

Surprised those with shoe sponsorships aren't already rocking the Nike or Reef socks above the bindings.

I think I'm going to have to suggest socks for my sister this weekend. She has really small feet and says the XS 2004 Byerly bindings she's been riding are still even a little loose on her. Maybe this will keep them tight enough.

I still wear gloves when joe jr gives me a pull. They are definitely more comfortable than bare hands.

My son tells me that I look lame and that it isn't considered cool. I swear I just don't understand kids these days . . .

socks i might could see... but gloves? not unless you're missing skin... saw a kid rocking a ball cap the other day... really wanted to pull up and tell him he needed to loose the cap b/c he needed to fall more b/c i hadn't seen him do anything but ride it like a slalom

I would think that the wicking type socks would work great. Cycling socks come to mind. Check out your local bike whop....

Yeah, those would totally be sweet because they'll be dry by the time you get back to the dock so you can just throw your flip flops on over them and be stylin! And comfortable!
